This one of a kind, unusual shell choker is my favorite natural necklace.  At it's center is a Caribbean ocean tumbled conus shell framed by old African, antiqued brass beads.  It is beaded with graduating, ocean tumbled Limpet shells, from my 17 year collection of beachcombing goodies.  

Limpet shells are funny little conical shaped sea shells that have no spiraling interior, but are a hat-like "roof" for a sea snail. They have natural holes on top, are ridged, but are smoothed by their tumble in the surf and, are white with slight stripes of color.  Limpet shells come in all different sizes.  On this chunky shell choker,they graduate from small to large. 

Finished with chunky old African bone beads & an antiqued brass snake toggle closure, this custom sized natural shell choker fits comfortably at the base of the neck.  Please measure accordingly.  Each is a one of a kind necklace as the brass beads & conus shell size will be different.
